Today a new Firmware update has been released for all current RG35XX models with H700 chip, with some bug fixes, and finally the long-awaited video player, capable of playing files in the following formats: wmv, avi, rmvb, flv, mp4, 3gp, asf, mov, mpg, mkv, etc.
We have not yet been able to test it, nor do we know how they will work, but as soon as we do some tests we will comment on it accordingly 😉After trying some video files, I couldn’t be more satisfied!! In the old GarlicOs, we could only use .mkv with specifications such as 640×480 files, etc., but in the new video player of this latest firmware, that is no longer necessary!! I have tested episodes in .avi, .mp4, .mkv in various resolutions, the highest in 1080 and there have been no sound glitches or slowdowns or anything strange, all the video files have worked smoothly and without problems. Marvelous!!

Does this mean we can get a second micro sd card, fill it with our favourite shows and films and use it in the second sd card slot to watch stuff?

I finally got round to a modded stock CFW install today and decided to use the old micro sd to fill with tv shows.
Nothing shows up in the media player, I formatted the sd in fat32 but I know its not that because the built in file manager can see the files and folders easily.
